An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Fontes in the 8th minute of play forced Monte Roraima's goalkeeper Falcão Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monte Roraima's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Eduardo Simões was slow to take the kick. During this time Sem Futuro Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Monte Roraima's goalie and right to Iustin Nedelcu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Monte Roraima's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 15 minutes into the match, Monte Roraima's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Albuquerque came free, but Falcão Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falcão Meira came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Sem Futuro Futebol Clube's Luiz Eduardo Simões. But to his dismay, Luiz Eduardo Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Guilherme Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Monte Roraima's Claudinho Barbosa got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Sidnei da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Luiz Eduardo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Claudinho Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monte Roraima's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sem Futuro Futebol Clube the free kick. Sidnei da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Simões put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Falcão Meira. Sidnei da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Falcão Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidnei da Mata got free with Falcão Meira in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sidnei da Mata in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Falcão Meira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 60th minute, Valério Urbano made a precise shot to the right of Falcão Meira. Monte Roraima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Sidnei da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Silverio Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidnei da Mata might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidnei da Mata ran back to his position shaking his head. Sem Futuro Futebol Clube made a substitution. Nilton Pombal replaced Valério Urbano. After 83 minutes, Sidnei da Mata made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Monte Roraima's Falcão Meira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Sidnei da Mata notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Monte Roraima's Falcão Meira. Falcão Meira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 94 played minutes Sidnei da Mata rounded Monte Roraima's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. The Monte Roraima fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sem Futuro Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
