Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Norberto de Salles started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Norberto de Salles sped through Mutante Rex FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinícius do Vale. Erivaldo Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Norberto de Salles came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the BOCA DO LEÃO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto de Salles couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Renato Gaúcho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Vinícius do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in BOCA DO LEÃO FC's zone, Erivaldo Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho Queiroz came out of the goal and Erivaldo Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, José Penha put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Renatinho Queiroz. Renatinho Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Penha in the 24th minute of play. After 25th play minutes Bernardinho Breckenfeld shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Vinícius do Vale and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, BOCA DO LEÃO FC's Rafinha Alvarenga got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Renato Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Miguel Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BOCA DO LEÃO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mutante Rex FC the free kick. In the 37th minute, Miguel Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, José Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mutante Rex FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcos Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renatinho Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. José Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Queiroz having to interfere. The supporters of Mutante Rex FC booed when BOCA DO LEÃO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

Erivaldo Penha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renatinho Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Bernardinho Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to BOCA DO LEÃO FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Miguel Queiroz hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Mutante Rex FC were awarded a corner. Erivaldo Penha went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mutante Rex FC's corner Erivaldo Penha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Renatinho Queiroz quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Erivaldo Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renatinho Queiroz was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Norberto de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOCA DO LEÃO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinícius do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo Penha in the 74th minute of play forced BOCA DO LEÃO FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Marcos Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Norberto de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOCA DO LEÃO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mutante Rex FC's Vinícius do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Mutante Rex FC from getting a goal against them. Vinícius do Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto de Salles's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Pena got free with Vinícius do Vale in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 played minutes Mutante Rex FC got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Penha. The Mutante Rex FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BOCA DO LEÃO FC's performance. The match ended with a win for BOCA DO LEÃO FC.
