If Farid Priem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Zonta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Augusto Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Murucupi's José Augusto Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Pinho in the 22nd minute of play. Vágner Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farid Priem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25th play minutes Farid Priem shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Vágner Secco and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 32nd minute, Adhemar Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Vitinho Falcão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vágner Secco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vitinho Falcão's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Vágner Secco - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 35th minute. José Augusto Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Pinho in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Pinho in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Augusto Souza saved Murucupi from getting behind. If Farid Priem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Secco having to interfere. Vágner Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farid Priem, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Daniel Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vágner Secco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Daniel Britto might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vágner Secco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 81st minute of the match, Jaime Tinoco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vágner Secco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
