When Jonas Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ABA SOCCER CLUB's protests and gave Jonas Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Falcão Moraes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kauan Dracena. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, ABA SOCCER CLUB's goalkeeper Kauan Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Falcão Moraes. Augusto Valle's late challenge caught a Eucalipto EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Valle helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ABA SOCCER CLUB getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Augusto Valle hit a great ball. Falcão Moraes struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Kauan Dracena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eucalipto EC. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Eucalipto EC's Erik Catarinense in the 38th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kauan Dracena was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for ABA SOCCER CLUB through an amazing save. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kauan Dracena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexsandro Rossi to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandrinho Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Catarinense ran back to his position shaking his head. Erik Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kauan Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Falcão Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. ABA SOCCER CLUB's Kauan Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Catarinense in the 94th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Falcão Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauan Dracena was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Eucalipto EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
