Adilson Camargo scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wiliam Rezende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wiliam Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Luz in the 16th minute of the match. Raphael Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Rezende having to interfere. Adilson Camargo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Wiliam Rezende skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Raphael Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florencio FC's Wiliam Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 47 minutes, Cristóvão Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona de Itaquá FC and the Florencio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Barcelona de Itaquá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Araújo to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raphael Luz was the one to do the kick off. Nico Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Thiago Nistelrooy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adilson Camargo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raphael Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Wiliam Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee showed Elder Bertassi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barcelona de Itaquá FC booed when Florencio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adalberto Saraiva, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
