When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ediberto Paranaense made a kick off. Dito Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Sousa in the 51st minute of the match. If Narciso de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Joana EC booed when Ipuera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ipuera walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
