Emílio dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willian da Silveira came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Jamandua AD's Zé de Barros. But to his dismay, Zé de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Caquitos's Willian da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé de Barros in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, José Vítor Mello notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Caquitos's Willian da Silveira. Willian da Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute José Carlos Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamandua AD were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Caquitos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Vítor Mello took the corner. Willian da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Saldanha in the 26th minute of play forced Caquitos's goalkeeper Willian da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emílio dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Júlio Cearense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caquitos. After a defensive mix-up in Jamandua AD's zone, Dalmo Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Cearense came out of the goal and Dalmo Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Júlio Cearense came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Caquitos's Emílio dos Santos. But to his dismay, Emílio dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Willian da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Saldanha in the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Emílio dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caquitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Caquitos getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dalmo Paraíba hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when José Vítor Mello made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Jamandua AD's Alan Simão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. With a little luck, Caquitos's Willian da Silveira got control of the ball when Zé de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Willian da Silveira was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Zé de Barros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé de Barros really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Alan Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Willian da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caquitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmo Paraíba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aníbal Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Júlio Cearense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caquitos. The crowd rose to their feet as Jamandua AD's José Vítor Mello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Willian da Silveira. That made the score 1-6 after 87 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Gaúcho in the 90th minute of play forced Caquitos's goalkeeper Willian da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Emílio dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé de Barros got free with Willian da Silveira in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Caquitos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jamandua AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Jamandua AD.
