When Alberto Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Brincadeira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Rosa couldn't finish the play. Décio Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Mello having to interfere. Geraldo Lima's late challenge caught a Magu SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geraldo Lima helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brincadeira FC! In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Magu SC. Elano Freire stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricardinho Mello. 0-1. After 15 minutes, Elano Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magu SC and the Brincadeira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Brincadeira FC booed when Magu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reginaldo Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Mandrak in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Gonçalves in the 21st minute of play forced Brincadeira FC's goalkeeper Ricardinho Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Tinoco in the 23rd minute of play forced Brincadeira FC's goalkeeper Ricardinho Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Brincadeira FC's Ricardinho Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Silva in the 34th minute of play. Ricardinho Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Tinoco in the 36th minute of the match. Ricardinho Mello came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Magu SC's Décio Ortiz. But to his dismay, Décio Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Breno Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. 47 minutes into the match, Magu SC's Kléberson Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardinho Mello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gildo Mandrak's late challenge caught a Magu SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gildo Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brincadeira FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Gildo Mandrak hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Breno Sousa made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Brincadeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Massa. Décio Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Kléberson Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardinho Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Ortiz in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Brincadeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Romero to maneuver through the defense. If Emanuel Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reginaldo Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Brincadeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho Mello made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Kléberson Silva sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Emanuel Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardinho Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Tinoco in the 90th minute of the match. If Afonso Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Waldemar Tinoco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardinho Mello. Waldemar Tinoco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Magu SC played a much better game than Brincadeira FC and deserved their victory. The Brincadeira FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
