In the 22ndth minute of the game Rony Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brincadeira FC's Ricardinho Mello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brincadeira FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Rony Branco scored to the left of an out of position Ricardinho Mello, making the score, 1-0. Alberto Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rony Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rony Branco was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Rony Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 56th minute, Fábio Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Brincadeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Branco came free, but Ricardinho Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Rosa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Arnaldo Coelho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 63rd minute, Abelardo do Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardinho Mello was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 66th minute, Guga Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Breno Sousa's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Silveira during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Patriota got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Silveira. Arnaldo Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Sousa in the 93rd minute of the match. Patriota's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
