If Décio Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Reginaldo Camargo made a huge save. Geovanni Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reginaldo Camargo made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Noel Mota sent off a good shot on target. Magu SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Silvestre Gilabert scored to the left of an out of position Reginaldo Camargo, making the score, 2-0. Reginaldo Camargo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Léo Arósio. In the 36th minute, AMERICA's Dudu Breckenfeld dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With a little luck, Magu SC's Reginaldo Camargo got control of the ball when Noel Mota tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute Décio Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Brogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reginaldo Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldemar Tinoco hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Reginaldo Camargo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Mota to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Edgar Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Magu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Gilabert came free, but Reginaldo Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magu SC's Reginaldo Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Trevisan in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Noel Mota notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Magu SC's Reginaldo Camargo. Reginaldo Camargo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reginaldo Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Geovanni Trevisan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reginaldo Camargo. Magu SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanni Trevisan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 72 minutes into the match, Magu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Mota came free, but Reginaldo Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Geovanni Trevisan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AMERICA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Reginaldo Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Mota in the 78th minute of the match. After 84th play minutes Noel Mota shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Reginaldo Camargo and just under the crossbar into goal.
