Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 11 minutes into the match, Grêmio Mello AC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus da Silveira came free, but Válter Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sociedade Esportiva VSKG's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
