Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Breno Sousa kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Thomás Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Alberto Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes, Waldir Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recife Pe and the Brincadeira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Waldir Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes, Brincadeira FC's Remo Romero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Waldir Garcia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brincadeira FC reached it. Ricardinho Mello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Maia in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Thomás Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardinho Mello. The goal made the score 1-0. Thomás Costa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Ricardinho Mello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Rogério Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Allan Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recife Pe's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho Mello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Brincadeira FC's Remo Romero got a free kick in the 29th minute. Waldir Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Eduardo Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ricardinho Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Guimarães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardinho Mello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Brincadeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Meireles. Waldir Garcia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Rosa went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Thomás Costas short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Ricardinho Mello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomás Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardinho Mello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomás Costa's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Recife Pe's Allan Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardinho Mello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Thomás Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardinho Mello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomás Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Maia in the 63rd minute of play forced Brincadeira FC's goalkeeper Ricardinho Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardinho Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Cardoso in the 65th minute of play. Brincadeira FC's Ricardinho Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid do Nascimento in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Maia in the 67th minute of play forced Brincadeira FC's goalkeeper Ricardinho Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Guimarães scored 3-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardinho Mello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardinho Mello came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Recife Pe's Allan Guimarães. But to his dismay, Allan Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Recife Pe's Emerson Bastos got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Recife Pe's Waldir Garcia got control of the ball when Alberto Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deivid do Nascimento hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Brincadeira FC's Alberto Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomás Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Eduardo Maia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ricardinho Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thomás Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Recife Pe's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
