The supporters of Glycerio booed when Mraoliveira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72nd play minutes Giuseppe Mattos shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Nelsinho Pombal and just under the crossbar into goal. Nelsinho Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Mraoliveira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto de Lima to maneuver through the defense. If Nildo Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
