After 37 minutes of play, Panama SS's Laerte Linares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deivid Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laerte Linares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Panama SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Placina SS the free kick. In the 47th minute, Tiago Gabriel Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Deivid Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama SS. Geovani Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glauco Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Luisinho Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Pinho having to interfere. Aílton Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Deivid Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama SS played a much better game than Placina SS and deserved their victory. The Placina SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
