Geovani Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Lucas Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deivid Chaves having to interfere. Nildo Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Deivid Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Geovani Fonseca lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Nelsinho Pombal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovani Fonseca during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geovani Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Dé de Senna hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Nildo Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisinho Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nelsinho Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mraoliveira's zone, Geovani Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Pombal came out of the goal and Geovani Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placina SS's Luisinho Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisinho Rodrigues made a kick off. Nelsinho Pombal came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Placina SS's Geovani Fonseca. But to his dismay, Geovani Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Mraoliveira's Nelsinho Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Rodrigues in the 57th minute of play. When Ronaldinho Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mraoliveira's protests and gave Ronaldinho Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Mraoliveira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Ruy Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruy Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Placina SS's Deivid Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Gaspar in the 66th minute of play. Ronaldinho Araújo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Tiago Gabriel Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mraoliveira's Nelsinho Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Fonseca in the 78th minute of play. Deivid Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nildo Freitas in the 81st minute. If Nildo Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deivid Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Lucas Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nildo Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Mraoliveira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nildo Freitas couldn't finish the play.
