He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in E. C. Vila Mariana reached it. In the 22nd minute of the match E. C. Vila Mariana got a corner. Queltes FC.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldinho Alves ran over to the corner to take the kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wesley Abraão couldn't finish the play. E. C. Vila Mariana's Evaristo Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wesley Abraão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joélson Quadros came out and tried to block the shot, but Wesley Abraão slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute, Evaristo Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldinho Esteves hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Wesley Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 55th minute Evaristo Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Oliveira took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clóvis Pitta.
