Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgar Dubilas kicked off to start the match. Tiago Gabriel Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Luisinho Rodrigues fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Szymon Prusinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Rodrigues in the 11th minute of the match. Geovani Fonseca was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Placina SS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Szymon Prusinowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 played minutes Placina SS got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Rodrigues. Szymon Prusinowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Rodrigues in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Jijoca SC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Felippe Esteves hit a great ball. Geovani Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Szymon Prusinowski made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Placina SS's Luisinho Rodrigues got a free kick in the 34th minute. Edgar Dubilas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Placina SS's Luisinho Rodrigues slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Szymon Prusinowski. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. Geovani Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szymon Prusinowski having to interfere. Luisinho Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Szymon Prusinowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Placina SS.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisinho Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Durvalino Pena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Placina SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Szymon Prusinowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Szymon Prusinowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Luisinho Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Szymon Prusinowski. Jijoca SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisinho Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Edgar Dubilas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgar Dubilas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Deivid Chaves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jijoca SC were furious when Eriberto Aguiar was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 79th minute, one of Jijoca SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jijoca SC. The referee gave Placina SS a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lauro Magalhães, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jijoca SC's Szymon Prusinowski. 4-0. If Tales Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Felippe Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Jijoca SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Esteves couldn't finish the play. Geovani Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Szymon Prusinowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Durvalino Pena fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Placina SS's protests and gave Durvalino Pena a yellow card for diving instead. Durvalino Pena hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Felippe Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deivid Chaves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Placina SS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lenílson Félix was slow to take the kick. During this time Jijoca SC's players had a chance to rest.
