Geovani Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Doni Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Formos's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luiz Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deivid Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Placina SS's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Vianna came free, but Deivid Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Formos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Reinaldo Vianna might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deivid Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reinaldo Vianna ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Gabriel Nascimento during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Placina SS got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Nascimento. Betão Pinheiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisinho Rodrigues made a kick off. Doni Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute, Durvalino Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luiz Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Deivid Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formos. Doni Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovani Fonseca in the 67th minute. Geovani Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisinho Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Doni Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Formos's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Rodrigues came free, but Doni Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Formos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Placina SS the free kick. After 77 played minutes Formos got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Vianna. Geovani Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Alves having to interfere. Formos's Reinaldo Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Formos's zone, Luisinho Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Alves came out of the goal and Luisinho Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélder Soeiro during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A nice corner shot did that Durvalino Pena got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Doni Alves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Doni Alves made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Geovani Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Doni Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
