Spectators: 6977 (Terracing: 5527, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 50) Korokas's Rodriguinho Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 4 played minutes Klose FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Breckenfeld. Guto Pombal hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Barreto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Klose FC's Jairo Duarte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Álvaro Nascimento. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodriguinho Mesquita in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulão Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Klose FC's zone, Fábio Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulão Barreto came out of the goal and Fábio Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fabiano Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Álvaro Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fábio Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Luís Fabiano Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulão Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Mesquita in the 36th minute of play. When Jairo Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Klose FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Duarte couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Korokas's goalkeeper Álvaro Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Duarte. Rodriguinho Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulão Barreto having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fabiano Toledo to make the kick off. Silvério Pereira charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvério Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Korokas's Álvaro Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Toledo in the 54th minute of play. Jairo Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Klose FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Pombal to maneuver through the defense. Paulão Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Peres in the 65th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Paulão Barreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korokas. After having played for 70 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klose FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Eduardo Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulão Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Peres in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Korokas got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Schmidt. The supporters of Korokas booed when Klose FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klose FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Korokas for a fine match.
