João Carlos Rocha hit a great ball. Jairo Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Abel Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Klose FC's zone, Luís Fábio de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulão Barreto came out of the goal and Luís Fábio de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Carlos Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Capixaba in the 19th minute of play forced Klose FC's goalkeeper Paulão Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Luís Fabiano Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Polungu SS got a freekick which was hit by Durval Abraão. 0-1 came in the 33rd minute when Diogo Vargas all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Horácio Cabral. In the 40th minute, Luiz Eduardo Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvério Capixaba was the one to do the kick off. Klose FC's Paulão Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio de Azevedo in the 51st minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Paulão Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fábio de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Duarte got free with Horácio Cabral in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Fábio de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Paulão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Polungu SS's Abel Dantas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Luís Fabiano Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Klose FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fabiano Toledo couldn't finish the play. Dedé Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Klose FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedé Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Horácio Cabral, was totally fooled by Klose FC's Diogo Vargas, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jairo Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Cabral having to interfere. Guto Pombal's late challenge caught a Polungu SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Pombal helped the player get up and apologised. Guto Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Silvério Capixaba got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Paulão Barreto handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Horácio Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Duarte in the 80th minute. If Luís Fabiano Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luís Barbosa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Toledo in the 85th minute of play forced Polungu SS's goalkeeper Horácio Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Klose FC's Luís Fabiano Toledo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 93 minutes of play Klose FC's Luiz Eduardo Breckenfeld was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luiz Eduardo Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Polungu SS were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Klose FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dedé Vasconcelos took the corner. The corner ended in Dedé Vasconcelos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Klose FC's Paulão Barreto did a great save. Jairo Duarte struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Horácio Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klose FC. When the final whistle sounded Klose FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Polungu SS.
