The tension between the Flamengo UK and the L.Kings F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Flamengo UK's Donato Araújo got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Luiz Fernando Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Flamengo UK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando Chaves couldn't finish the play. Donato Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Chaves lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for L.Kings F.C.! The referee gave Flamengo UK a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabrício Gaspar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of L.Kings F.C.'s Dino Penha. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gugu Pinho was the one to do the kick off. If Donato Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gugu Pinho in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Fabrício Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamengo UK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave L.Kings F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Flamengo UK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Henrique Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Igor Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. Flamengo UK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Flamengo UK's Donato Araújo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dino Penha. That made the score 1-2 after 81 minutes of play.
