Evandro Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rodrigo Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoppe FC's protests and gave Rodrigo Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Cardoso in the 91st minute of the match. Horácio Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Catarinense having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
