Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedrão de Carvalho took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Nilson Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabiano de Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Silveira in the 7th minute. Pedrão de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Josefina's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão de Carvalho came free, but Rafael Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, Josefina's Gabriel Silveira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabiano de Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rafael Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, Josefina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Senna to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão de Carvalho in the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Alessandro Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC SHOWRINTHIANS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Gabriel Silveira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fabiano de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Paraíba in the 32nd minute of the match. Fabiano de Andrade made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gabriel Silveira sent off a good shot on target.

In the 52nd minute Nilson Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Silveira struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Fabiano de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Josefina. Alessandro Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Braga having to interfere. Alessandro Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Rafael Braga made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Josefina's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão de Carvalho came free, but Rafael Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano de Andrade having to interfere. Gabriel Silveira struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Fabiano de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Josefina. Josefina's Rafael Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão de Carvalho in the 76th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Gabriel Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC SHOWRINTHIANS PAULISTA's Fabiano de Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Josefina's Rafael Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Josefina from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gabriel Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Josefina's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nilson Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Fabiano de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josefina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
