The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henrique Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Bittencourt in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Flamengo UK's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Bittencourt came free, but Henrique Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabrício Gaspar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Marques. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Nestor Antunes struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ismael Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo UK. Nestor Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Flamengo UK's Donato Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Duarte Bittencourt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hoppe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo UK the free kick. The supporters of Flamengo UK booed when Hoppe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flamengo UK's Donato Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Marques having to interfere. Ismael Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emílio da Silva made the kick off in the second half. Igor Cosme came free in the 53rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Ismael Marques, but to the joy of Hoppe FC's supporters the ball went over. Donato Araújo scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nestor Antunes took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Marques. Ismael Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Henrique Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio da Silva in the 65th minute of the match. Pedrinho Hermes struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Ismael Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo UK. In the 81st minute Pedrinho Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duarte Bittencourt got free with Henrique Pontes in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Fernando Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Marques having to interfere. The supporters of Hoppe FC booed when Flamengo UK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flamengo UK fully deserved thier win.
