Marcelinho Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Penha having to interfere. Cacá Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Evandro Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes L.Kings F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Chaves. Marcelinho Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Penha having to interfere. Portilho F.C.'s Evandro Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Ramos in the 19th minute of play. Evandro Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gugu Pinho went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Zé Carlos Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portilho F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Carlos Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Carlos Cardoso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dino Penha came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Carlos Cardoso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 26th minute. Cacá Ramos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evandro Catarinense having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, Marcelinho Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gugu Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes L.Kings F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Sarmento. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Carlos Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. If Zé Carlos Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to L.Kings F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cafu Sarmento hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, Portilho F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Pontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd match minute, L.Kings F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Diogo Valladares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dino Penha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, L.Kings F.C.'s Evandro Catarinense threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cacá Ramos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Afonso Arce hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Cafu Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cacá Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portilho F.C.'s Zé Carlos Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evandro Catarinense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Pinho in the 79th minute. Evandro Catarinense was a little too slow when Cacá Ramos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-3. Zé Carlos Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho Silva's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
