The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugênio Simão got free with Denílson de Mendonça in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denílson de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denílson de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Barros in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Dracena in the 20th minute of play forced Perebas FC's goalkeeper Denílson de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes CascaHell FC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Dracena. Gil Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Donato in the 25th minute of the match. If Válbson Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiago Gabriel Negri hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Raimundo Donato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perebas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CascaHell FC the free kick. Gil Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Donato in the 39th minute of play. Perebas FC's Denílson de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Barros in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Paulo Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in CascaHell FC's zone, Válbson Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Urbano came out of the goal and Válbson Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of CascaHell FC booed when Perebas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Luiz Paulo Martins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denílson de Mendonça. Perebas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Paulo Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 81stth minute of the game Eugênio Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perebas FC's Denílson de Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, CascaHell FC's goalkeeper Gil Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Donato. Perebas FC's Válbson Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gil Urbano made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Raimundo Donato sent off a good shot on target. If Benê Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denílson de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio Simão in the 89th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Barros in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denílson de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leopoldo Dracena scored 3-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denílson de Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CascaHell FC had played much better football throughout.
