A collision led to Milan F.C getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Afonsinho Rosa hit a great ball. João Augusto Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonsinho Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Afonsinho Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. João Augusto Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Augusto Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Afonsinho Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. João Augusto Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cerro Fc defense, Afonsinho Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Augusto Dante. The Cerro Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Augusto Dante should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Miguel Breckenfeld notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Cerro Fc's João Augusto Dante. João Augusto Dante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot by Rodrigo Netto from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Acácio Trevisan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovanni Alvarenga during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Milan F.C got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Alvarenga. When Silas Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Cerro Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silas Mesquita couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Afonsinho Rosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Dante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Cerro Fc's zone, Afonsinho Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto Dante came out of the goal and Afonsinho Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonsinho Rosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Dagoberto Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerro Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Augusto Dante came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Milan F.C's Miguel Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Miguel Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 62nd minute, Milan F.C's Afonsinho Rosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Augusto Dante. João Augusto Dante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Acácio Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Trevisan having to interfere. João Augusto Dante made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Geovanni Alvarenga sent off a good shot on target. Milan F.C's Afonsinho Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cerro Fc! After a defensive mix-up in Milan F.C's zone, Silas Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Trevisan came out of the goal and Silas Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Augusto Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Rosa in the 93rd minute of the match. João Augusto Dante made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Miguel Breckenfeld sent off a good shot on target. Milan F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
