The referee ignored IDEAL KINDIIN CLUB's protests and gave Abelardo Correia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, IDEAL KINDIIN CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Correia to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Waldir Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Songurbey Uluşahin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes, La Fúria FC's César Salles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Songurbey Uluşahin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Fúria FC reached it. If João Pedro Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Songurbey Uluşahin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Toledo in the 18th minute of play. IDEAL KINDIIN CLUB's Songurbey Uluşahin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Toledo in the 19th minute of play. In the 26th minute Edvaldo Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Songurbey Uluşahin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Pedro Furlan had several of the La Fúria FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Márcio Esteves as he didn't even see the shot coming. 37 minutes into the game, La Fúria FC's Edvaldo Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Songurbey Uluşahin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 42nd minute Zézinho Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Songurbey Uluşahin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kauã Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Esteves having to interfere. Songurbey Uluşahin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Quintal in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvaldo Freitas to make the kick off. Songurbey Uluşahin made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Waldir Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Guga Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldir Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Guga Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, La Fúria FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Pedro Furlan came free, but Márcio Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Toledo got free with Songurbey Uluşahin in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Guga Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. IDEAL KINDIIN CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guga Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
