Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Gilberto Vaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pinhal Futebol Clube's Fernandão Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton do Valle in the 22nd minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elivélton do Valle was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Pinhal Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Viana. With a little luck, Pinhal Futebol Clube's Fernandão Mesquita got control of the ball when Elivélton do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as igara F.C's Elivélton do Valle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernandão Mesquita. That made the score 2-1 after 59 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in igara F.C's zone, Víktor de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Vaz came out of the goal and Víktor de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Víktor de Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinhal Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Chicão do Nascimento's late challenge caught a Pinhal Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chicão do Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. Chicão do Nascimento hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the igara F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pinhal Futebol Clube.
