In the 3rd minute, Arthur de Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edson Paranaense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Luiz Rossi in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão Siqueira saved PAYSANDU from getting behind. A collision led to Mafia Blue FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Yan Tande hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Edmundo Miranda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mafia Blue FC's Edson Paranaense didn't even have to move. Renato Paraense's late challenge caught a Mafia Blue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renato Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, one of PAYSANDU:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PAYSANDU. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pedro da Silva in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Siqueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edson Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Siqueira having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, PAYSANDU's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Rossi came free, but Simão Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro da Silva scored 2-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simão Siqueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Arthur de Amaral notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Mafia Blue FC's Edson Paranaense. Edson Paranaense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when João Pedro da Silva made the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes PAYSANDU got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Siqueira. João Pedro da Silva spun around in front of the goal 59 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of PAYSANDU's goal. Mafia Blue FC's João Pedro da Silva saw an opening behind the goalie Simão Siqueira in the 59thth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Simão Siqueira with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. In the 65th minute Diamantino Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edson Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute.
