Spectators: 6495 (Terracing: 5495, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frederico Gerber took the kick off in the first half of the match. SÃO PAULO FC's Alfredinho de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carlos Gonçalves in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Vicente Rosado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredinho de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Frederico Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olavo Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Aliança Acegua's zone, Frederico Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Abraão came out of the goal and Frederico Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olavo Leal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Allan Abraão came out and tried to block the shot, but Olavo Leal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute José Carlos Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Olavo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, SÃO PAULO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian Maciel to maneuver through the defense. Aliança Acegua's José Carlos Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilian Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Frederico Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the SÃO PAULO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico Gerber couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that José Carlos Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredinho de Souza was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 48 minutes into the match, Aliança Acegua's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo Leal came free, but Allan Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Carlos Gonçalves made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Reinaldo Couto in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SÃO PAULO FC's Jonathan Batista. 56 minutes into the game, Frederico Gerber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Allan Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olavo Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Abraão having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, SÃO PAULO FC's Frederico Gerber made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Abraão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frederico Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, Aliança Acegua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Rosado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Gonçalves in the 72nd minute of play forced SÃO PAULO FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Gerber scored 4-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allan Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Olavo Leal made a precise shot to the right of Allan Abraão. Aliança Acegua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. When the referee ended the match the SÃO PAULO FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
