The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cacá do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bendix Behnert, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Miguel Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Bendix Behnert notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Farinna's Cacá do Vale. Cacá do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1-4 became the score in the 30th minute when Fabrício Mello elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bendix Behnert in the 40th minute of play forced Farinna's goalkeeper Cacá do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Gualter Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Gualter Leal made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Salgado in the 51st minute of play forced Fenix Flumed's goalkeeper Miguel Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53rd play minutes Bendix Behnert shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Cacá do Vale and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bendix Behnert got free with Cacá do Vale in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bendix Behnert scored 1-7 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cacá do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cacá do Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobaldo Sayveon went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Bendix Behnert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cacá do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Farinna's zone, Fabrício Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá do Vale came out of the goal and Fabrício Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bendix Behnert struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Cacá do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenix Flumed. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bendix Behnert got free with Cacá do Vale in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teobaldo Sayveon hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
