But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício Mello couldn't finish the play. Fenix Flumed's Bendix Behnert came free and shot a quick shot against goal 72 minutes in the game, fortunately Laércio Alagoano had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Carioca during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patau SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bendix Behnert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Patau SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fabrício Mello 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. With a little luck, Patau SC's Laércio Alagoano got control of the ball when Bendix Behnert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zézinho Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Miguel Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Patau SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fenix Flumed were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
