Rubinho Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Duarte having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Diaurum's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Pereira came free, but Isaltino Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aílton Siqueira struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Isaltino Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Campeões. Guilherme Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falcão Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaltino Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Aílton Siqueira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Diaurum's Isaltino Duarte. Isaltino Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eliseu Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Diaurum's Gualter de Lara, in the 29th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Diaurum. Rubinho Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Dorian Linares fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diaurum's protests and gave Dorian Linares a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Diaurum got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Linares. Isaltino Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualter de Lara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Mendonça's late challenge caught a Diaurum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Marcelo Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guilherme Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Isaltino Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Super Campeões's Eliseu Brito got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Gualter de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualter de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aílton Siqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Isaltino Duarte made a huge save. When Falcão Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Diaurum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falcão Araújo couldn't finish the play. Guilherme Pereira struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Isaltino Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Campeões. Falcão Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rubinho Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubinho Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Falcão Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 minutes of play, Diaurum's Gualter de Lara made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubinho Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
