In the 18th minute, Edu Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Diaurum's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Antunes came free, but Isaltino Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Antunes in the 24th minute of play forced Diaurum's goalkeeper Isaltino Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Dorian Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 29 minutes, Zézinho Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patau SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zézinho Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zézinho Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Couto struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Isaltino Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patau SC. 38 minutes into the match, Diaurum's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Antunes came free, but Isaltino Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Manuel Couto made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Manuel Couto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaltino Duarte. Manuel Couto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 56thth minute of the game Manuel Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diaurum's Isaltino Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 56 played minutes Diaurum got a freekick which was hit by Edu Marquez. Inácio Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Duarte having to interfere. During the 61st minute of the match Edu Marquez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edu Marquez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Diaurum getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Edu Marquez hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Diaurum's goalkeeper Isaltino Duarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho Antunes. Falcão Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Laércio Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
