After 16 played minutes Fenix Flumed got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Arruda. After 23 minutes, Teobaldo Sayveon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenix Flumed and the Super Campeões players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Fenix Flumed was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Sayveon to maneuver through the defense. Rubinho Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendix Behnert in the 26th minute of play. Rubinho Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bendix Behnert in the 27th minute of the match. Aílton Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Gerber having to interfere. If Guilherme Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a left leg Rubinho Neto saved Super Campeões from getting behind. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Super Campeões's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. William Pernambucano was slow to take the kick. During this time Fenix Flumed's players had a chance to rest. After 41 minutes Super Campeões's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was William Pernambucano who took care of the corner kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The Fenix Flumed fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Fenix Flumed's Bendix Behnert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bendix Behnert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Rubinho Neto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fabrício Mello was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Fenix Flumed's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Super Campeões's Rubinho Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Super Campeões from getting a goal against them. Bendix Behnert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Rubinho Neto made a huge save. Bendix Behnerts short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Rubinho Neto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fenix Flumed's Fabrício Mello was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rubinho Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Mello in the 84th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabrício Mello kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rubinho Neto. That made the score 0-6 in the 87 minute of play. Fabrício Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rubinho Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bendix Behnert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Fabrício Mello lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Rubinho Neto. Fenix Flumed's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
