Ayuruoca EC's Gilmar Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ayuruoca EC from getting a goal against them. Rony Andrade struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gilmar Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Luzia. Gilmar Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Andrade in the 44th minute of the match. A hard shot 46 in the game by Matheus Hermes from a close distance when the talented Gilmar Domingues managed to make a qualified save. Ayuruoca EC's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ayuruoca EC's goalkeeper Gilmar Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rony Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilmar Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rony Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilmar Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Andrade in the 66th minute of the match. Ayuruoca EC's Gilmar Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Hermes in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Matheus Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilmar Domingues. Ayuruoca EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 83 played minutes Santa Luzia got a freekick which was hit by Noel Soeiro. When Rony Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Santa Luzia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Andrade couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Matheus Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ayuruoca EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Santa Luzia.
