Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Guilherme Pereira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Manuel Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patau SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Couto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubinho Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zézinho Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rubinho Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Patau SC booed when Super Campeões was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubinho Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 17th match minute, Super Campeões was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by César Galvão from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Rubinho Neto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Aílton Siqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aílton Siqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aílton Siqueira hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Zézinho Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubinho Neto having to make a save. Super Campeões's Rubinho Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Super Campeões from getting a goal against them. Rubinho Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Couto in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Manuel Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Neto having to interfere. Zézinho Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Couto was the one to do the kick off. Zézinho Antunes scored 2-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rubinho Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Patau SC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Armando Quintal hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Zézinho Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rubinho Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 69 played minutes Patau SC got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Chaves. If Zézinho Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4-1 became the score in the 82nd minute when Manuel Couto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Patau SC got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Chaves. Aílton Siqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Patau SC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ciro Carioca hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Super Campeões's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Antunes came free, but Rubinho Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Patau SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
