The tension between the Ayuruoca EC and the Fenix Flumed players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Ayuruoca EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Leite to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fenix Flumed's zone, Maurício Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Gerber came out of the goal and Maurício Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Bendix Behnert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayuruoca EC's Gilmar Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bendix Behnert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Domingues having to interfere. If Fabrício Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Ayuruoca EC got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Leite. In the 41st minute Bendix Behnert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fabrício Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilmar Domingues was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the game, Bendix Behnert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Gilmar Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Gilmar Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Mello in the 64th minute of play. Gilmar Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Fabrício Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilmar Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Bendix Behnert in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Maurício Lara fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ayuruoca EC's protests and gave Maurício Lara a yellow card for diving instead. When Fabrício Mello came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Fenix Flumed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício Mello couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Bendix Behnert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilmar Domingues. The goal made the score 0-7. In the last second Gilmar Domingues throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fabrício Mello in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Fabrício Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilmar Domingues was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. The Ayuruoca EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fenix Flumed were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
