Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilvan Arce in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaltino Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilvan Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dorian Linares hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Atlético Mauá's Baltazar Tepedino tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Laércio Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Diaurum's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Munhoz came free, but Isaltino Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laércio Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Isaltino Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualter de Lara made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Marcinho Mazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaltino Duarte. Diaurum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcinho Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Diaurum getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edu Marquez hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umberto Sousa during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Umberto Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Diaurum's zone, Laércio Munhoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Duarte came out of the goal and Laércio Munhoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Gilvan Arce fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Isaltino Duarte, passed just outside the right post. 72 minutes into the match, Atlético Mauá's Gilvan Arce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaltino Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laércio Munhoz got free with Isaltino Duarte in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Umberto Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, Diaurum's Richard Valle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evaristo Meirelles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Diaurum reached it. After having played for 81 minutes, Laércio Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Mauá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laércio Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 played minutes Diaurum got a freekick which was hit by Edu Marquez. In a very dangerous position, a player in Diaurum fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Laércio Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gugu Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Atlético Mauá's Baltazar Tepedino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
