Sidney Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Faria in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Clóvis Sabóia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alexsandro Toscano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cristóvão Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tradição Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Cristóvão Alvarenga scored to the left of an out of position Alexsandro Toscano, making the score, 2-1. DunHill F.C.'s Cristóvão Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clóvis Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alexsandro Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Clóvis Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio da Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexsandro Toscano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Alvarenga in the 40th minute of play forced Tradição Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Alexsandro Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, DunHill F.C.'s Clóvis Sabóia got a free kick in the 41st minute. Sydney Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Montenegro having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Edgar Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sidney Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 63rd minute Edgar Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tradição Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney Vergílio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sidney Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Faria in the 92nd minute of the match. A hard shot 94 in the game by Sydney Vergílio from a close distance when the talented Sidney Montenegro managed to make a qualified save. DunHill F.C.'s players were relieved. In the 95th minute, Sydney Vergílio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sidney Montenegro, passed just outside the right post.
