Leão da ilha EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cipriano da Silva 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Eduardo Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Carneiro having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Eduardo Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Eduardo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luan Sanches during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Leão da ilha EC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Luan Sanches hit a great ball. Bernardo Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamim Cordeiro in the 38th minute of the match. Eduardo Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Carneiro having to interfere. When Benjamim Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Leão da ilha EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamim Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Eduardo Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leão da ilha EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Matorin was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes E.C.KOCOLOUCO got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Proença. Eduardo Limas short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Bernardo Carneiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 57 minutes into the game, Donato Matorin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Túlio Fernandes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of E.C.KOCOLOUCO booed when Leão da ilha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Luan Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, E.C.KOCOLOUCO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Carneiro was a little too slow when Benjamim Cordeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 3-2.
