In the 14th match minute, FC Duda 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Batista to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Corinthians Paulistano's Fabrício Pinheiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Teodoro Alves came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Corinthians Paulistano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Alves couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute of the match Corinthians Paulistano got a corner. FC Duda 11's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabrício Pinheiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Corinthians Paulistano's Fabrício Pinheiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Eusébio Lara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alfredo Teixeira took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Muniz. Júlio Muniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Corinthians Paulistano's Jo Seco got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Dida Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corinthians Paulistano's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 minutes, Nico Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Duda 11 and the Corinthians Paulistano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Nico Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Durvalino Dionísio made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Corinthians Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Teixeira came free, but Júlio Muniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jo Seco fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corinthians Paulistano's protests and gave Jo Seco a yellow card for diving instead. FC Duda 11's Josué Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, FC Duda 11's goalkeeper Eusébio Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charles Soares. 63 minutes into the match, Corinthians Paulistano's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Dionísio came free, but Júlio Muniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alfredo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Durvalino Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Muniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Alves in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Lara saved FC Duda 11 from getting behind. Eusébio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Alves in the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Alfredo Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Duda 11's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
