César Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário da Rocha scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugênio Albuquerque, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, César Lopes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Redstorm Football Club's Duda Coelho. Duda Coelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th match minute, Redstorm Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Lopes to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Ubanheira were awarded a corner. Aloísio Abraão went to the cornerflag to take it. 30 minutes into the match, Ubanheira's Charles Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duda Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redstorm Football Club's goalkeeper Duda Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ubanheira's Valdemar Bittencourt pulled a muscle in his leg after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 35 minutes into the game, Aloísio Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redstorm Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ubanheira the free kick. In the 37th minute, Charles Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Duda Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to Redstorm Football Club getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Túlio Leão hit a great ball. Charles Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Coelho having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After having played for 56 minutes, Fausto de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubanheira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duda Coelho made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Charles Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute Manuel Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugênio Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto de Sena's late challenge caught a Redstorm Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto de Sena helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Redstorm Football Club booed when Ubanheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Eugênio Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Redstorm Football Club's Duda Coelho got control of the ball when Charles Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Charles Cardoso notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Redstorm Football Club's Duda Coelho. Ubanheira's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
