Jaime Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Prestes in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Cambuci FC booed when Havre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Havre's Alfredinho Travassos got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Jeremias Rosado sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Havre's Jaime Paes didn't even have to move. 20 minutes into the match, Cambuci FC's goalkeeper Augusto Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gildo Porto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Souto in the 44th minute of play forced Havre's goalkeeper Jaime Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Havre's Jaime Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Prestes in the 45th minute of play. Alfredinho Travassos's late challenge caught a Cambuci FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredinho Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Alfredinho Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tom Boy made a kick off. Mathias Cabral was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 54th match minute, Cambuci FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Cabral to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Havre's Jaime Paes got control of the ball when Dedê Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Tom Boy made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Sanches. Cambuci FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Cambuci FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
