The crowd rose to their feet as Osmar Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aloísio da Costa. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osmar Duarte made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Igor Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guerra FCP's Igor Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Guerra FCP booed when C.A. If Renato Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Renato Motta came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the C.A. Catarinense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Motta couldn't finish the play. When C.A.
