Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wellington Mattos started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Fábio de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caleksant LF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palame the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Caleksant LF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio de Salles to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Caleksant LF's Fábio de Salles got a free kick in the 6th minute. Carlos Godoi, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Palame's Enéas de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Vergílio in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that João Pedro Vergílio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enéas de Lara was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 19 played minutes Palame got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Simões. Palame's Enéas de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Vergílio in the 20th minute of play. If Sílvio Luís Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, Palame was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luís Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro Vergílio in the 33rd minute of play forced Palame's goalkeeper Enéas de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pedro Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enéas de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Rodrigues in the 36th minute of the match. João Pedro de Brito hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tiago Gabriel Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palame's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Gabriel Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldinho Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wellington Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Secco having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Pedro Vergílio to strike the kick off in the second half. 1-1 became the score in the 64th minute when Wellington Mattos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Enéas de Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Luís Rodrigues in the 70th minute. If Tiago Gabriel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Secco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington Mattos went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Palame were furious when Deivid Arósio was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palame! Tiago Gabriel Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Secco having to interfere. When Eliseu Terra came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Palame fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Terra couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
