Kléberson Munhoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Faustão Moraes sped through Maiquinique EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vitório Paulista. Manfredo Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fernando Correia having to interfere. If Ulysses Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustão Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitório Paulista having to make a save. João Augusto Koehler struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Vitório Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibertioga. A collision led to Ibertioga getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. João Bueno hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Manfredo Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maiquinique EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfredo Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fernando Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Fernando Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysses Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maiquinique EC's zone, João Augusto Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Paulista came out of the goal and João Augusto Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustão Moraes made a kick off. Guilherme Marinho tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Vitório Paulista. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 54th minute. Charles Vides hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Faustão Moraes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vitório Paulista. That made the score 2-3 in the 64 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Maiquinique EC's zone, João Augusto Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Paulista came out of the goal and João Augusto Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Augusto Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes Ibertioga got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Alves. Luís Fernando Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luizão Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Maiquinique EC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Guilherme Marinho hit a great ball. With his leg Vitório Paulista managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Ibertioga's Faustão Moraes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. João Augusto Koehler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Vitório Paulista made a huge save. A hard shot 88 in the game by Faustão Moraes from a close distance when the talented Vitório Paulista managed to make a qualified save. Maiquinique EC's players were relieved. Arthur Paes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Ibertioga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maiquinique EC.
