Duda Pimenta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nestor Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ronaldo de Alcântara in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Flamengo CRF's Hermínio Veiga. If Hermínio Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guilherme de Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allan Aguiar went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Flamengo CRF's Duda Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo de Alcântara in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Allan Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo CRF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Atletico Malagoli SC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio Veiga came free, but Guilherme de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme de Medeiros having to interfere. Allan Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Guilherme de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermínio Veiga made a kick off. Oséias Pirani got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ronaldo de Alcântara. When Hermínio Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Flamengo CRF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio Veiga couldn't finish the play. Flamengo CRF's Hermínio Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Nestor Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nestor Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hermínio Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Flamengo CRF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio Veiga couldn't finish the play. Edvaldo Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Duda Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes in the game Oséias Pirani did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Edvaldo Saldanha. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Aguiar couldn't finish the play. The Flamengo CRF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Flamengo CRF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
