Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiliam Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Moisés Martins came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the EC Calango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Martins couldn't finish the play. In the 26th match minute, JATOBÁ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Wiliam Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé de Senna in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Moisés Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Moisés Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JATOBÁ F.C.'s Wiliam Marquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, JATOBÁ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Percival Teixeira came free, but Wiliam Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of EC Calango booed when JATOBÁ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moisés Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wiliam Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Machado in the 54th minute of the match. Moisés Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Wiliam Marquez made a huge save. Wiliam Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Martins in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiliam Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. EC Calango's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
